Early Childhood Educator – Supported Child Care Worker

Hours: 20 hours per week (reviewing 40hrs/week)

Wages: $16.00/$16.50 per hour

Job qualifications: Applicants for this position MUST have their valid ECE license and/or ITE, be dynamic, dependable, reliable and available for daytime shifts, work well independently and as a team player, be friendly, outgoing, energetic, and be hard working.  Previous experience with children with special needs is preferred.  It would be an asset if applicant had some knowledge of the military. Bilingualism is also an asset.

Job description: Will be working one on one with a child needing extra support.  Educator will also working in a daycare including and nurturing children, assisting in daily/weekly/monthly planning of activities for all children and any other related duties as required. Download job description.

Emergency Respite Caregiver

Hours: Hours of work will vary dependent on the need of the family. Assignments can be at any hour of the day or night, including weekends. Caregivers can specify when they are willing to be contacted and what hours they are willing and available to work. Assignments may exceed 24 continuous hours but will normally be 72 or fewer hours in length.
