Operational Stress Injuries

Operational Stress Injuries are very real and have been a part of military history throughout the ages.  Today, the increased tempo and high risk nature of military operations means that service men and women are doing jobs that may expose them to high levels of stress that may cause an OSI.  If you or someone you care about is suffering or may be suffering from an Operational Stress Injury, the MFRC can link you to services that can provide you with the information and support you need. Call 250–363–2640 (toll free 1–800–353–3329) for details.

Women's Circle

Laugh, cry and nourish your body and soul while being surrounded by other women who care. Spend time meditating, listening and talking.  Creative exercises will help you learn more about yourself and the women in your circle. Circle participants comment how much it helps to get “connected” in the community and to develop a real sense of “belonging” – especially living this lifestyle.  New participants welcomed weekly.   Child care is available at an additional cost – limited space available.  Call us to find out if this is the right group for you.  One-time fee of $10 covers all sessions.

We are currently taking names for the next Women’s Circle.  Please call and leave your name at 250–363–2640 (toll free 1–800–353–3329).
