Child care can be much more than just time away from your home - Every day is an adventure at the Military Family Resource Centre Daycare where imagination, fun and learning are always at the top of the agenda.
Casual Child Care
Age 18 months to 5 years
Parents need a break! Try our Casual Child Care Program for a few hours of respite or to get things done without your “little helper.” Make the time to de-stress yourself! A few hours of respite can be a reality. Book up to 1 week in advance, maximum 2 times per week, Casual Child Care is available for $3 per hour per child at:

Daycare
The MFRC Daycare at CPAC and Lampson has limited full-time daycare spaces available for 3-5 year olds. Please contact us for details.

Due to the high demand of daycare in the military community, we can only accommodate military families at this time.

Out Of School Care Program
The MFRC Out of School Care (OSC) Program offers a group-centered approach to child care specifically for our military families. Although the individual needs of each child will be taken into consideration, the staff will work together to promote a sense of group belonging. It is our goal to create an atmosphere that encourages children to take responsibility for themselves and each other both in and out of school and that the groups be each child's "away from home" family. We encourage a positive self-concept, cooperation, respect for oneself and others and appropriate expression of feelings.
The OSC Program offers quality care before and after school for children up to 12 years of age, including those in the morning kindergarten class at John Stubbs School. OSC is available from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm on a pre-registered basis.

Preschool
Our ECE certified Educators provide fun and creative opportunities for your child! Parent participation is required for field trips. Classes are offered at both CPAC and Lampson MFRC locations. Call 250–363–2640 (toll free 1–800–353–3329) to ask about our 2 or 3 day a week classes which can help your child to learn through play. All classes require a minimum of 7 students and have a maximum of 10 students.
