The MFID is a nationally recognized identification
card that includes the signature of the military
member. It can be used for identification or
to receive military discounts. You can also
transfer the card to other bases and stations.
Who Can Get a Military Family Identification
Card (MFID)?
The MFID is available to immediate military
family members, including spouses/common-law
partners and children who are age 13 or over.
The MFID is available to families of both Regular
and Reserve Force members.
How Do I Get a Card?
You can get your Military Family Identification Card through the Signal Hill MFRC or MFRC-CPAC. Please remember that the military member must be present to sign the card at the time of issue. The process takes approximately 15 minutes.
