Parent Education



Group Teen Triple P - Positive Parenting Program

It is up to you as a parent to decide which values, skills and behaviours you want to encourage in your child and to develop your own approach to dealing with your child’s behaviour. The Positive Parenting Program provides simple solutions to make parenting easier. Triple P Teen is a six-week course designed for parents dealing with the ups and downs of raising children ages 11 to 15. Infant and Toddler CPR and Safety

Learn about safety, first response and CPR from a qualified CPR instructor and a registered nurse. This workshop will be of interest to new and expectant parents and anyone who cares for infants and toddlers.

Kids Have Stress Too!

Kids Have Stress Too! ™ is an amazing program created by the Psychology Foundation of Canada to help parents recognize signs of stress and how to teach their children ways to manage their own stress (with a focus on 3-8 year olds). Learn relaxation strategies like the “Cloud Push” and how to problem solve by asking “What if…” as you join in on this interactive workshop. Pregnancy and Doula Service

This series of seminars from the MFRC help parents manage their child’s behaviour in a constructive and caring way while reinforcing good communication and strong relationships with their children. 

The Power of Positive Parenting
