Get Ready for Baby - Prenatal Classes
Your new baby will be here soon—get ready with the MFRC childbirth preparation series! Our new class is based on the Lamaze Six Healthy Birth Practices. Our qualified facilitators will cover topics including comfort measures for childbirth, learning about breastfeeding and caring for your newborn. Cost covers entire series for the mother and her partner. If your partner is deployed, the MFRC Pregnancy and Labour Companion volunteers can assist you. Group Teen Triple P - Positive Parenting Program
It is up to you as a parent to decide which values, skills and behaviours you want to encourage in your child and to develop your own approach to dealing with your child’s behaviour. The Positive Parenting Program provides simple solutions to make parenting easier. Triple P Teen is a six-week course designed for parents dealing with the ups and downs of raising children ages 11 to 15. How To Talk So Kids Will Listen – How to Listen So Kids Will Talk
Are you tired of yelling at and pleading with your child? This longstanding, successful workshop helps you with the hardest job you have: being a parent. Discover effective ways to connect with your child. This session explores helping children deal with feelings, engaging cooperation, and alternatives to punishment. Find out how to listen and understand your child’s concerns and how to help your entire family cooperate at home. Bring your lunch, beverage provided.

Infant and Toddler CPR and Safety

Kids Have Stress Too! ™ is an amazing program created by the Psychology Foundation of Canada to help parents and caregivers learn kid-friendly strategies for managing stress. Raise your arms for the “Cloud Push” and stretch your imagination to ask “What if…” as you join in on this interactive workshop.

Triple P - One on One Positive Parenting Consultation
