Esquimalt MFRC - Programs & services that meet the unique needs of military families

Special Needs

MFRCs within Canada and abroad work to support Canadian Forces families. We offer community based programming, and we are responsive to the needs of our families. Within our communities, there are Families with Extra Needs and responsibilities that care for children with special needs, have a partner with health concerns, help an elderly family member or want to support a CF member with an operational injury.

Navigator Program

The Navigator contact at your local MFRC, can assist you with your unique circumstances when it comes to:

  • relocation and re-establishing resources
  • preparing for an upcoming deployment
  • connecting with other families in your community
  • finding direction when you’re not sure who to call

Visit the Navigator website to learn about the resources available to you.
