Esquimalt MFRC - Programs & services that meet the unique needs of military families

Becoming a Volunteer

"I have never felt like 'the little guy' at the MFRC, but a member of the team where my contributions mattered and are always appreciated."

Volunteering touches all that we do at the MFRC. A wide range of volunteer opportunities exists for you to become involved and make a positive impact in the military family community. Whether your interest is in meeting new people, working with children and youth, building a resume and enhancing your professional expertise – volunteering for us will provide numerous rewards.

Orientation Sessions

Find out about the Military Family Resource Centre, our programs and the community in which you will be volunteering. We will help you discover a volunteer position where you can experience personal and professional development opportunities and give back to the community at the same time. Come to an orientation where you will be able to sample the diverse programs and services we offer, or book a personal consultation. Additional Volunteer Orientation Sessions as requested.
